SarahJean Sews
I thrift items, deconstruct them, and use an embroidery machine & sewing machine to create unique sassy items. I think the weirder the fabric combinations (quilt scraps and angry cats), the better the outcome!

SarahJean Sews at ScrapFest
My love for Scrapfest continues! After a 2 year hiatus, 2022 was my third year as a vendor. This art festival focuses on repurposing items into beautiful new creations - it is my favorite local festival for so many reasons!
Steph Swart continues to be a strong support person - and I trust my business to no one more than her. She gave me more than one much-needed break during the weekend!
I created and brought different types of items, sold a record number of items, and made new creative connections. This was my most successful show to date - in all the ways.

SarahJean Sews at DIYpsi
I had such an incredible time as a vendor at DIYpsi Summer Festival in Ypsilanti at the end of August.
The 2-day handmade art fair hosts amazing indie artists, as well as live local music & hand-crafted food and drink!
I met so many lovely people and other makers - and sold lots of zippies and ALL the pillows!
I really appreciated the way the organizers set things up and the way they valued vendors! I can't wait to do another show with them!

Magical Ass Magic
I thought the 2018 holiday season brought the height of the Magical Ass season - but the magic continues!
I've had so much fun creating these fun repurposed pillows, and love that people keep demanding them!

Sassy aprons
I have always loved sewing cute aprons, but have recently upped the fun factor by adding embroidered sass!
I made this flirty skull apron last year. I always loved it, but thought it would be even better with some secret ingredient verbiage. I sassed it up in July and it sold very quickly at Scrapfest!
I'm working on some more sassy aprons - stay tuned!
