SarahJean Sews at DIYpsi
I had such an incredible time as a vendor at DIYpsi Summer Festival in Ypsilanti at the end of August.
The 2-day handmade art fair hosts amazing indie artists, as well as live local music & hand-crafted food and drink!
I met so many lovely people and other makers - and sold lots of zippies and ALL the pillows!
I really appreciated the way the organizers set things up and the way they valued vendors! I can't wait to do another show with them!
SarahJean Sews at ScrapFest
My love for Scrapfest continues! 2019 was my second year as a vendor - my SJS team expanded, the number of items I had multiplied, and I sold ALL THE THINGS. This art festival focuses on repurposing items into beautiful new creations - it's kind of my thing!
I am posing here with Steph Swart and Kelly Grochowski - these lovely supportive humans help me organize & prep & sew & I am forever grateful for them!

Magical Ass Magic
I thought the 2018 holiday season brought the height of the Magical Ass season - but the magic continues!
I've had so much fun creating these fun repurposed pillows, and love that people keep demanding them!
SarahJean Sews at Bad Annie's
All my #lovelansing dreams came true when my friend Summer opened Bad Annie's Sweary Goods in Old Town Lansing. This cute shop carries snarky books, clothing, cards, and more!
My linens are such a perfect fit in this sweary environment, and I am thrilled with this partnership!
Make sure to check out this sassy store if you're in the Lansing area. It is so perfect for gifts! (And you will want to buy all the things for yourself also.)

Sassy aprons
I have always loved sewing cute aprons, but have recently upped the fun factor by adding embroidered sass!
I made this flirty skull apron last year. I always loved it, but thought it would be even better with some secret ingredient verbiage. I sassed it up in July and it sold very quickly at Scrapfest!
I'm working on some more sassy aprons - stay tuned!
Craft Night at Firecracker Foundation
I continue to love my partnership with The Firecracker Foundation in Lansing. I was so honored & excited to host yet another recent craft night with teens!
We made colorful, glittery flower pots - and I am here here here for this joy.

SarahJean Sews at Awakening Boutique
I am so excited to have some of my sassy creations in Awakening Boutique in Denver, CO.
This women-owned, sex positive, social justice-y shop is the perfect fit for my makes!
Make sure to check them out if you're in the Denver area!
Firecracker Foundation Partnership
10% of all sales are donated to the Firecracker Foundation, a Lansing-based non-profit organization that supports the healing of children who have experienced sexual trauma. Learn more about them here.
